If I'm in this area in the future, I will only stay here if there is a discounted room. In the casino, despite many people waiting to play table games, there were several unopen tables and those that were open had a $25 minimum bet or higher. The TV in the room was surprisingly small, even compared to the larger screens in budget hotels. However, overall, staying at the casino was not worth the extra money. We opted for the buffet for dinner, which was not cheap, but it did offer a wide range of good food and dessert. The hotel was adequate the room was clean and comfortable, the staff was helpful and courteous, the fitness room was well-maintained, and there is a variety of food options on-site. When we arrived, the signs did not direct us to the self-parking lot for the hotel we had to find it on our own. We originally were going to stay at the Inn a couple of miles away but we decided to upgrade to a room at the casino. We stayed here for one night on our way from Syracuse to Cooperstown.
